MY ASSIGNMENT FOR HIS KINGDOM . . .

“HERE I AM LORD. SEND ME” . . .
Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to the people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8 NLT.
From the very beginning, Jesus made His mission clear to His disciples. “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men” Mark 1:17 NKJV.
Jesus gave His disciples their life-long mission: to go and make disciples in all the nations by baptizing and teaching new believers. “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain” John 15:16 NKJV.
We are saved to be God’s sons and daughters, to be His spiritual messengers and the message must be a part of us.
As a result of the inner workings of Christ, I have fresh vision, passion, and commitment to participate in the great commission. Since I have been awakened, I have a new desire to say, “Here I am Lord. Send me.” I don’t want to be on the sidelines watching what God is doing. I want to be involved in the Harvest and I want to embrace the mission’s call. Lord, use my life and what you’ve done in me, that you would do something through me, so I now can be a catalyst for a fresh work of God in my generation and nation.
God blesses people through people. What will distinguish you in this world is serving others and being a living demonstration of God’s love. The Christian life is one of giving in every direction, always seeking to encourage and enrich others. Believers are called
to serve one another through love.
Every believer is saved to fulfill a divinely ordained purpose during their lifetime. That purpose will always involve influencing the lives of people for both time and eternity. When you truly receive Jesus, faith, hope, and love start radiating outward from you.
All Christians have the responsibility to testify about Jesus, to declare the truth so that all might believe in Him. Our testimony should help point people to Jesus so that they would want to follow Him. Our loyalty to God means how we live on earth matters. We are not mere observers of a fallen culture; we are meant to be transformational agents within it.
Our mission is to prepare the way for the Lord, then get out of the way – SO HE CAN BE THE WAY! Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! The only way to heaven! No one comes to the Father except through Him. Jesus is Everything, He is the Treasure, without
Him we are lost.
HE’S THE ANSWER!
Each day I pray, “Lord, give me a fresh revelation of my assignment for Your kingdom. Put within me an unquenchable desire for Your will and not my own. I say “Yes” to Your plans and purpose for my life”. I will wait obediently for Him to send me, no matter what that might look like. I want others to know His love and salvation that will fill the never-ending void in people’s hearts which is the one and only thing that will fill it.
What about you? Are you willing to say, “Send me” and step outside of your comfort zone to share the good news with others? Don’t stay on the sidelines and let your days pass you by, pursue God and His plans for you.
