CHRIST IS THE
ONLY WAY

Who does not want to be on a victorious team? Winning is something everyone longs to experience.

What is the greatest and most costly battle to ever take place? Who is the victory, and what is the reward? The greatest battle ever fought was between good and evil. On the day Jesus Christ was nailed to the cross, even His disciples thought
the battle for good was lost. Jesus died and was buried in a tomb, sealed by a massive stone. Those who had followed Him walked away in total defeat.

But Jesus did not remain in that dark tomb. He rose again and defeated death. He sacrificed His life for us, just as God the Father had planned, in order to rescue us from our sins. God showed us His grace—something we did nothing to earn—through Christ Jesus. Our Lord broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News.

“He broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News.” —2 Timothy 1:10

The most important prize to be won in this life is the gift of salvation that Christ offers to each one of us. It is impossible to live perfectly, even if you think you are a good person or leading a moral and upright life. We are all sinners and have
fallen short of God’s glorious standard. Without God, we live for ourselves and follow the ways of this world. Sin separates us from Him forever. But God intervened because He loves us—and by His grace, we are made righteous.

John 3:16 – “For this is how God so loved the world: he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

John 10:10 - "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”

When you believe in Jesus, you are restored to the relationship you were created for—you become God’s son or daughter.

John 1:12 - “But to all who believe him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”

Which Team Are You On?

How to be on the winning team and have a personal relationship with God

  • Admit you need God. Repent and turn away from sin.

John 8:11 – “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

  • Believe by faith that when Jesus died on the cross, He took the punishment for all your sins, and He rose to life again to conquer death.

John 1:29 – “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

  • Ask Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior. Invite Him into your life and surrender to His leadership.

To receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior - we have to believe in our hearts and confess boldly with our mouths and agree with the Word of God.

Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Prayer for God’s forgiveness

Father God, I come before You just as I am. Thank You for speaking to my heart and showing me how much I need You. I know I have sinned, but I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again so that all my sins—past, present, and
future—would be forgiven. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart. I accept You as my Savior, and I ask You to be my Lord—to lead me out of my old life and into the new life You died to give me. I believe I am saved, and I will spend eternity with You, and I thank God for it. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

FINAL REFLECTION

The cross is not just a symbol of sacrifice—it is the ultimate victory. Jesus did not just win a battle; He won the war for our souls. And now, He invites us to join His team—not as spectators, but as sons and daughters. The choice is ours. Will we
keep chasing temporary victories, or will we receive the eternal prize? With Christ as Coach, we never fight alone, and we never fight for nothing. We fight from victory, not for it. And that changes everything.

You’re always on the winning team with Christ as Coach!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
