CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY

REDEEMED

WHY CHRIST MY COACH

Jesus is the most important person in my life. Redeemed by His blood, I
now strive to express my love, gratitude and thankfulness for the gift of
salvation.

As a follower of Jesus, I’ve learned it's all about living in a personal
relationship with Him, NOT a ritual or religion. My goal is to inspire others to
seek and know Him more deeply.

I have been CALLED, APPOINTED, and SENT to share the good news of
the Gospel and the unconditional love of God with others. Jesus is the
answer to everything we truly need in life.

May All That I Am Give Honor and Praise to Jesus Christ, My Lord and
Savior!

About

who is COACH  cHARLES

coach;

\kohch/ noun.

1. a passionate, dedicated individual who unlocks hidden potential and maximizes a team's performance by believing, encouraging, and developing.

In 2016, I retired after serving 42 years in education, having served as a teacher, basketball coach and athletic director in Fairfield County, CT. Teamwork and excellence were the backbone of my coaching philosophy. But beyond athletic achievement, I taught my players the importance of character, discipline, and resilience-on and off the court.

After retiring, I discovered that God had a greater plan for my life. In November 2017, everything changed. While attending a Christian Church, I recommitted my life to Jesus Christ, asking Him to be my Savior and Lord. That moment marked a new beginning. Jesus gave me a fresh start and opened the door to use my coaching gifts for His Kingdom and His glory.

From 2019 and 2023, I served as the Director of Church Ministries and Director of Operations at Cornerstone Christian Center in Milford, CT. It was a season of growth, service, and surrender.

One passage that continues to shape my life is Philippians 3:7-9 (TPT): "Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for; I have now forsaken them, and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord...My passion is to be consumed with Him."

That verse speaks directly to my journey. For decades, I poured myself into coaching, leadership, and achievement. But when I encountered the love and lordship of Jesus, everything shifted.

Letting go of my past accomplishments wasn't about regret, it was about realignment. Despite all I'd achieved, I still wasn't fulfilled. The spotlight of success dimmed when the light of Christ broke through. What I once held high, I now lay down-not with regret, but with gratitude. Because knowing Him is the only prize worth pursuing.

I came to realize that true success isn't measured by wins or recognition, but by intimacy with Jesus and obedience to His call. The trophies, titles and accolades-while once defining-lost their value. What once seemed valuable now feels hollow compared to the joy of knowing Christ.

I didn't lose my identity as a coach, I discovered its true purpose. My passion now is to be consumed with Christ-to know Him deeply, reflect Him fully, and serve Him faithfully.

I'm still coaching-but now I coach for Christ. I help people discover their identity, unlock potential, and live with purpose. I'm grateful to be chosen for His team. Because I've learned that real success isn't found in scoreboards or accolades-it's found in transformation. Coaching for Christ means helping others trade worldly success for pursuing a life leading to eternal significance, where true victory is found in living for Him.
